"Truly Memorable" Malta Holiday
Our second exchange holiday report in this issue of the newsletter comes from Josephine and Kenneth Brethert, of Wigan. It’s truly amazing where membership of Seasons Holidays can take you in the world, and when you set out, you can always be sure that the standard of the accommodation at the resort of your choice will be what you expect – unlike a package holiday. If you want to investigate the possibilities of an exchange holiday to some exotic destination, then call Seasons Reservations on 01994 426000 and they will be delighted to help you make your dreams come true.
‘We visited Malta for two weeks in February 2009, swapping our Seasons week and this exchange gave us two weeks with Interval International membership. Our stay was a truly memorable time and Malta lived up to all our expectations.
We particularly enjoyed the local transport, it was economical and convenient and took us to start many a hike over Malta's diverse countryside. We enjoyed panoramic views overlooking the ocean on one side and Malta's abundant wild flowers on the other, making a garden of their own. We are also interested in history, so toured as many of the museums and castles as time afforded us, thoroughly enjoying each and every visit.
Our first night at St. Paul's Bay gave an insight into Malta's culture, as it was Carnival time prior to the start of Lent. The hotel's commissioner and staff were all dressed in various fancy costumes. Many of the guests were similarly attired, with both adults and children joining in. It made a very colourful start to our holiday.
This picture shows a brother and two sisters bedecked in fancy costume, the shot was taken on a trip to Mdina that we would recommend to visitors. So, thank you to Seasons and Interval International for opening up a new experience.’
